Rebel, Reinvent, and Thrive: How To Launch Your Dream Business
Flight Club: Rebel, Reinvent, and Thrive: How to Launch Your Dream Business tells the story of how Felena Hanson, founder of Hera Hub, became a successful entrepreneur. The book also features six other female founders who “leaned out” of the corporate life to launch their dream business: Debby Eubank, Linda O’Keefe, Lorin Beller, Sara Clark-Williams, Deirdre Maloney, and MaryCay Durrant. The women in the book share techniques to help readers create their own “flight path” to launching their dream business. The end of the book gives readers three months of access to a step-by-step online platform (www.StepsToStartup.com) for launching a business.
Flight Club is an inspiring book for women entrepreneurs at any level. It’s good advice for budding business owners just starting their “flight” and serves as inspiration for those who are farther along their business journey to keep moving towards their goals.
Felena Hanson’s 20-year career covers a wide variety of experience, from technology start-ups to digital marketing agencies. After working as Director of Marketing for a venture-backed San Diego internet company that sold to AOL, Felena launched her first business, Perspective Marketing. She also gained leadership roles with professional women’s organizations, including Ladies Who Launch and Women’s Global Network, finding her future niche supporting women business owners. Felena’s current venture, Hera Hub, is a spa-inspired shared workspace and community for female entrepreneurs. Hera Hub has three San Diego locations, locations in Phoenix, D.C., Sweden, and four more locations in the works for 2018. Felena has been featured in numerous publication, nominated for multiple small business awards and won awards including the 2012 “Women Business Owner of the Year” award and the 2014 “Women Advocate of the Year” award from the San Diego chapter of the National Organization of Women Business Owners.
I have met Felena at several Hera Hub events and also at San Diego Startup Week. Her success and the help she gives other female entrepreneurs is truly inspiring!
